A short, beautiful trail to expose your children to the joys of hiking. The clearly signposted path leads past the charming town, overflowing falajs, and underneath fruit-laden trees. It’s best to let them explore it at their own leisure even if you could breeze through it in 20 minutes. Basically, the entire area is a village called the Wadi Shees Village. On the outskirts of Sharjah, in Khor Fakkan, next to Wadi Shees, is where the theWadiShis Park is located. Living in a rental apartment in Al Qasimia Sharjah will take you about 45 minutes. Similarly to that, if you live in an apartment in Ajman Nuaimiya, it takes 45 to 60 minutes. The drive to the park by car for Dubai residents takes about an hour and a half. Here you can climb the mountains walkways, enjoy a bbq picnic at the park, walk in the park and watch a show at the outdoor theatre.
A beautiful hiking track with views of Khorfakkan and the bay begins and ends with Al Rabi Tower. A historical landmark, the tower was erected in 1915 as a component of Khorfakkan’s defense system.
